Ivanka Ska, owner of House of Ska, moved to New York City from Poland in 1994, where she fell in love with the energy and enthusiasm of the fashion industry. After vacationing in St. Petersburg, Florida, she discovered the place that would serve as both the inspiration and foundation for her successful business.
House of Ska opened in 2006, and cemented itself as the first multifaceted "Fashion House" of its kind in the Tampa Bay area. The store offers customers a unique variety of clothing, jewelry, shoes and fine art. With a full-time tailor on staff, any fashion statement you can imagine can be achieved at House of Ska.
A noted community leader, Ska utilizes her dynamic skills for various community projects and events including the St. Pete Art Beat, Gala Corina, Surreal Fashion at Women: Dali’s View, and ongoing runway shows that can be scene across the Bay. Ska has been credited with starting a true fashion movement within St. Petersburg and surrounding areas. A media favorite when it comes to fashion expertise, Ska's magnificent fashion masterpieces are a staple part of St. Petersburg couture.
